The Navy is making it a pain in the butt to pick a date, you'll know when we do: I promise!!

Due to limited time with the Navy, and funds for the both of us, a large reception does not feel possible at this time.

We plan on doing something in the Summer of 2026 to celebrate with all of you, please just be patient with us!

Those interested in attending the Ceremony at St. Boniface are more than welcome. We understand if you are unable to make it, or want to wait for the big reception.

As for now, we're just excited to get married.

Our journey started in 2023 when we met through a mutual friend. Caroline attended William’s birthday party as a complete stranger, and a friendship quickly formed. While a relationship wasn’t on Caroline’s radar at the time, Will knew from the start that he was interested in her. It took us some time to get on the same page—almost a year, to be exact. It finally happened on the Fourth of July. Caroline knew the moment she walked up to that party what her future would look like.

In a movie-like moment, under a sky lit by actual fireworks, our relationship began. Since that night, we’ve probably seen each other at least once every week.

Caroline would say our first date was at a literal junkyard, searching for car parts—it was the first time we talked about a future together. Will, on the other hand, would say it was the night he went over to her house and she made tacos for dinner—a detail so memorable that "Tacos" became Caroline’s contact name for a while. Since then, we’ve enjoyed a series of fun and unique dates, from geocaching across Ohio to our monthly trips to Applebee’s. It’s been a wonderful beginning to what we now know will be a lifetime together.

From the very start, Caroline playfully dropped hints about marriage—little nudges that kept the idea alive in the background. While Will may have quietly agreed, the thought didn’t become a reality until he made the courageous decision to enlist in the Navy. Choosing to get married wasn’t a decision we made lightly, but in this moment, it feels undeniably right.

As we prepare to embark on this new chapter—facing both the challenges and joys life may bring—we are filled with excitement and hope for our future together. This is just the beginning of our story, and we can't wait to write the next chapters as husband and wife. Let’s hope the Navy sticks us in a warm state!
